Gideon’s photographic work for client Miamibaby made it all the way to the ‘Miami swimshow’ in the USA. 10 foot prints of the work that he captured on location in Brazil were displayed throughout the event, and were said to be a real hit as they showed the vivid qualities that coupled the brand to event location fantastically. Mandrake PR company were kind enough to supply us with coverage of the event, and were the masterminds behind a successful campaign.

Gideon was interview on both Sky Sports and Al-Jazeera TV alongside Manchester United and England football players Rio Ferdinand and Michael Carrick. In relation to some of the work Gideon achieved in South Africa earlier in the year. One of many media interviews this year the news anchor said that Gideon was well season at this interview process and was able to deliver some great answers on the various themes posed.

Gideon was flown out to Northwest Nazarene University, in the USA to receive Leon Doane Young Alumnus Award for both personal and professional achievements since graduating the University. He said of this experience “it was an honor to be chosen to receive this award, and I recognize and share this achievement with all of the people that I have been privileged to meet along this journey. “

Gideon joins the national press at Downing Street to photograph the UK Street Child World Cup as they meet Alistair Darling as ambassadors of the UK, they travel to South Africa to play against teams from around the world. Gideon says of the experience, “I think the team will be more than just players both in South Africa and when they return – they will show people how charismatic and articulate they are.”

Gideon was interviewed for half an hour yesterday morning by Mike Shaft on BBC Radio Manchester. The interview focused around Gideon’s life changing experience of faith, why he came back to Manchester, the success of his professional photography business, and his involvement in community work. House of Frazer partnered the creative team to provide the garments and local people from the Didsbury area modelled the garments showing how ready to wear this seasons 1940′s & fabulous look is.
